Shall blog about our class dinner on 2/3/07 since no one had blogged abt it yet.

1m04 class dinner at Swensens!!

1m04ians present: Qixian, Melody, Shwu Ling, Hui Nee, Yu Shan, Mun Ying, Shu Qing, Jing Han, Alex

Dinner was fun! Everyone got to see everyone again. :) Qixian and Yu Shan’s typical laughter, Shu Qing’s typical on diet. Jing Han’s and Alex’s typical crap.

Everyone was supposed to meet at City Hall at 7pm, but a few of the people who were normally late were late, as usual. Shwu Ling was the earliest to reach, as usual. JingHan, Alex and Mun Ying were the latest since they had to accompany Alex to Bugis first.

We wanted to go to Sakae Sushi first, but got turned off by the long queue line. Then we decided to switch to Café Cartel, but there wasn’t any space. And we looked through the list of restaurants available in the brochure. Finally, we decided between Billy Bombers and Swensens. Swensens decided to let us have seats asap, should be because they don’t want us to turn away to other restaurants.

We had our food, everyone ordered differently and we realized that our portions were quite small. Alex and Jing Han were complaining about their share. Haha.. Alex even complained about Swensens loosing their business to Fish & Co. in their feedback form. Haha..

After dinner, we went to Esplanade to listen to the people singing Chinese songs. Quite nice actually. And went to take photos after that.

Mun Ying found a spot with a very unsuitable background to take the group photo, so the rest got thinking why she’d choose such a weird spot to take photo. So they went on to choose a place with a better background and there, we had our group photo.

After that, everyone left for home, after taking very long to decide on which route they’ll take to go home. Qixian, Melody and Hui Nee went to take train. Shu Qing, Shwu Ling, Mun Ying, Yu Shan, Jing Han and Alex went to take bus home.
